Meetic.com is one of those sites that you just look at and know is going to be bad. While we usually try not to judge a book by its cover, it’s hard not to when you see a site like Meetic.com and just have to heave a long, heavy sigh, knowing that your Meetic review is going to be tiresome and ultimately, very fruitless.
We weren’t wrong.
Meetic scams are basically the bulk of this site. It’s very difficult to try and make this site work because honestly, the scammers have taken over. If there are inactive profiles, they are now run by scammers, which really just isn’t a good thing at all.
If this site was cleaned up, maybe it would be okay…but we still think that they advertise way too much towards men. This means that they’re just going to have a bad ratio no matter what they do, which means that your chances of actually getting a date with a woman on here are slim to none.
Our Four Month Test: How Meetic.com Measured Up
We ended up spending a total of four months on our Meetic review, and during that time, we sent out 250 e-mails to women that we really hoped weren’t just more Meetic scams.
They probably were.
From those 250 e-mails, we only received a total of 66 responses. This was absolutely deplorable, and we really didn’t have high hopes from then on out. We were right not to, considering not a single woman wanted to actually meet up with us and go out on a date. What a time waster.
Why Meetic.com Didn’t Work (Is It a Scam?)
This site basically just has a ton of scams on it. They’re all scam bots, which means they aren’t even worth poking, because they’re all going to throw out the same response no matter what.
Don’t poke them, though.
If you encourage scammers, that’s just going to make them keep coming back. The best thing to do is to get off sites like this, and move onto something that’s actually worth your time.
